What is kings department store?

King's Department Store is a chain of department stores that were initially established in the United States in the early 1900s. It was founded by the Garfinckel family, who were prominent members of the retail industry at the time. The stores quickly gained popularity due to their high-quality products, competitive pricing, and excellent customer service. By the 1920s, King's Department Store had become a well-established department store chain with locations throughout the United States.

In 1956, King's Department Store was purchased by Federated Department Stores (now known as Macy's, Inc.), which continued to operate the stores under the King's name. Over the years, some of the King's Department Store locations were converted into other department store brands owned by the same parent company, while others were closed altogether.

While King's Department Store is no longer a major retailer in the United States, some locations still exist in Guam and the Philippines under the management of Robinsons Retail Holdings. These stores continue to provide high-quality products and excellent customer service to their local communities.
